Denison Road Traditional Knowledge

From the report, "In the fall of 2009 the Deline First Nation Knowledge Project (DKP) in partnership with the Délı̨ nę Remediation Office (Délı̨ nę First Nation) initiated a traditional knowledge mapping project, with a project focus of the “remediation zone” where abandoned mine sites are located around the Great Bear Lake (GBL) area. Focus group sessions were held on January 17 and March 3 and 4, 2010, and map information was documented cumulatively over the two focus group sessions."
